TriTeal Lion

A lion with a teal color to match my identity brand. This was my first halftone project, which inspired me to create more identical projects.

Nebula Roaring Lion

Combination of logos. Lion growling with a nebula and moon in the background. Inspired by the theme of the BFA show 'WANDER'.

Empty Hands

Red shady hands shown with a distressed background. The colors signify a sense of guilt and being in a sorrowful state. [inspired by other img]

Tiger with 'Christ'

A Combination of a Tiger roaring into the distance, a Blue galaxy background, and 'Christ'. Inspired by my personal interests.

Lifeless Drop

A tear drop coming down the face of a girl, trying to save the dead flower that can no longer be saved. Just like somethings in life.

Wishful Thinking

A lady who is wishful thinking - contemplating her life and creating ideas that are not really there. Thus resulting in her dark eyes.

Hopeless / Helpless

Screenprints

Model with identity Brand *Graffiti* (CMYK)

This scrteenprint looks like a real life portrait due to the CMYK process. We print in the order of Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, & Black. We do this by first separating the colors of the original image in Photoshop and then exposing & printing those separate colors in 4 different screens. It is a much longer process but those extra steps can be a handful. Eventually, the colors mix in on top of each other which result in creating a realistic effect. It is always best to work with an image that contains vivid colors in order to create a constrast and vibrant screenprint.

This screenprint was made with the intention to have my identity username on the background within a graffiti wall. The original image was found online and did not contain the same colors used in this print. The original image only contains a brown graffiti wall, and the model wearing a white shirt. I chose to select an online image because I was never able to get a hold of someone to model for this project idea. On top of That I did not intend to graffiti a random wall. So I Photoshoped the name on the wall and changed as much as I could, with the usage of colors in order to have vivid colors.

Self Portrait with Graffiti (CMYK)

This CMYK print was done during the same time as the 'Model with Identity Brand' and was inspired by the same idea as that print. This is an old picture of myself that was taken of me in 2018. I have taken many photographs that contain a graffiti background, but this is the only daytime one. Since it has many vibrant colors, I decided to do this with the CMYK Process. I also decided to show the borders which show two circles that are supposed to be registration marks for when we print the CMYK colors on top of each other. The goal is to line up the prints in order to get the best quality image. However, if you misalign the image, it can result in having an error in the print.

Mixture Of Logos (CMYK)

This was the very CMYK print that I have ever made, it shows both animals that resemble both of my logos. The Owl and the Lion. I created this edit on Photoshop and eventually made it into several holographic stickers and into this CMYK screenprint. I was not inspired by anything, but rather just decided to show my logos in a detailed image. The hands were indeed random and were added in order to create a contrast between the cyan colored animals.

S

The original image was produced by an AI generator which featured a background and detailed anime female. With the use of Photoshop, I decided to remove most of those extra details and incorporate a menacing look onto the animated girl. I decided to add my custom eye droplets underneath the eyes and darkening the eyeballs. I screenprinted The first layer in the color red, which shows the original eyes and was larger than the top (black) layer.

The reason why I decided to edit the original image was due to the fact it reminded me of a special person. The wavy/curly hair, as well as the dagger earing hanging on the left ear - were similar resemblances of how this girl looked like in person. Many new ideas and inspirations were made during this timeframe.

Gothic Grunge Model

This screenprint was inspired by a different image that I once saw in a poster. I ended up redesigning the model and background with my own style. A grunge and distressed background, with the use of the Graphic Pen filter on Photoshop. Dark colors were used because I wanted to keep it simple in color since there was a busy background. Curly hair and the eye droplets were the unique details here.
